Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SharePause, including the SharePause mobile application, website, Trust Cards, analysis features, support services, and any related tools, pages, or services that link to these Terms collectively, the “Services.”

SharePause is owned and operated by Willnata LLC (“Willnata,” “SharePause,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. What SharePause Does

SharePause is an AI-assisted content-checking service designed to provide a second opinion before users trust, forward, post, repost, submit, or share content.

SharePause may allow users to submit text, screenshots, images, captions, claims, posts, or other content for analysis. The Services may provide share-safety ratings, confidence indicators, Trust Cards, supporting context, risk signals, AI-assisted explanations, and other informational guidance.

SharePause is intended to encourage thoughtful review, source checking, and responsible sharing. SharePause does not make final decisions for users.

2. Important Disclaimer: SharePause Is a Second Opinion, Not Proof

SharePause provides informational guidance only. SharePause is not a truth engine, fact-checking authority, censorship platform, verification authority, professional advisor, legal advisor, medical advisor, financial advisor, emergency service, academic misconduct authority, or final decision-maker.

SharePause results, ratings, explanations, Trust Cards, confidence indicators, and recommendations may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, misleading, or inappropriate for your situation.

You are solely responsible for your own decisions, posts, shares, reliance, conclusions, actions, and omissions. You should not rely on SharePause as your only source of information, especially for legal, medical, financial, emergency, safety, academic, employment, political, reputational, or other high-stakes matters.

3. AI-Assisted Analysis Limitations

SharePause may use artificial intelligence, automated tools, scoring systems, third-party providers, and proprietary analysis methods to evaluate submitted content. AI-assisted systems are probabilistic and can make mistakes.

SharePause does not guarantee that any content is true, false, safe, unsafe, authentic, manipulated, AI-generated, human-generated, misleading, legal, illegal, harmful, harmless, complete, or properly contextualized.

Any rating or result should be understood as a confidence-based signal, not a definitive conclusion. You should independently verify important information using official sources, qualified professionals, or other reliable references where appropriate.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SharePause. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

By using the Services, you represent that you are legally able to agree to these Terms.

5. Accounts and Security

Some SharePause features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account information current.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us promptly at support@sharepause.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization or if you become aware of any security issue.

6. User-Submitted Content

You are responsible for all content you submit to SharePause, including text, images, screenshots, captions, messages, claims, posts, files, feedback, support requests, and any other materials collectively, “User Content.”

By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the User Content or have the necessary rights and permissions to submit it;
• Your submission does not violate any law, contract, privacy right, intellectual property right, or third-party right;
• Your submission does not contain unlawful, harmful, malicious, exploitative, or prohibited material;
• Your submission complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Do not submit highly sensitive, confidential, private, restricted, unlawful, or privileged information unless you are authorized to do so and understand the risks of submitting it for analysis.

7. License You Grant to SharePause

You retain any ownership rights you may have in your User Content.

By submitting User Content to SharePause, you grant SharePause and Willnata LLC a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, copy, reproduce, transmit, process, analyze, transform, summarize, display, and otherwise use your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, support, maintain, improve, and develop the Services.

This license includes permission to generate analysis results, ratings, explanations, saved history, Trust Cards, diagnostic records, security logs, and related outputs based on your User Content.

8. Trust Cards and Shared Results

SharePause may allow you to create, save, export, or share Trust Cards or summaries of analysis results. Trust Cards are intended to provide additional context and should not be treated as proof, certification, endorsement, guarantee, professional verification, or a final determination.

You may not use Trust Cards, SharePause results, or SharePause branding in a misleading, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, abusive, or out-of-context manner.

You are responsible for how you use, interpret, distribute, screenshot, repost, or describe any SharePause output.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use SharePause to:

• Violate any law, regulation, contract, or third-party right;
• Upload, distribute, or analyze content you do not have the right to submit;
• Harass, threaten, defame, shame, stalk, exploit, or abuse another person;
• Misrepresent SharePause results as proof of truth, falsity, guilt, misconduct, authenticity, or wrongdoing;
• Use SharePause outputs to make unsupported accusations against individuals, organizations, creators, students, employees, or public figures;
• Submit malware, malicious code, harmful files, spam, or abusive automated requests;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, resell, or exploit the Services except as permitted by law;
• Interfere with, overload, disrupt, or compromise the Services or related systems;
• Bypass usage limits, rate limits, access controls, payment systems, subscriptions, or security protections;
• Use the Services to train competing products or models without written permission;
• Use SharePause for surveillance, biometric identification, identity verification, or law-enforcement decision-making;
• Use SharePause as the sole basis for legal, medical, financial, academic, employment, emergency, or safety decisions.

10. High-Stakes and Emergency Use

SharePause is not designed or approved for emergency use, medical diagnosis, legal analysis, financial decisions, public safety decisions, threat assessment, academic misconduct determinations, employment decisions, law-enforcement decisions, or other high-stakes uses.

In an emergency, contact appropriate emergency services, authorities, qualified professionals, or official sources. Do not rely on SharePause for urgent safety decisions.

11. Academic, Workplace, and Professional Use

SharePause may provide signals related to AI-assisted writing, source quality, unsupported claims, or content risk. These signals are not proof of misconduct, dishonesty, plagiarism, fraud, policy violation, or professional wrongdoing.

Schools, employers, organizations, or professionals should not use SharePause as the sole basis for disciplinary, employment, academic, legal, or reputational decisions. Human review, appropriate process, context, and independent evidence are required.

12. Beta Features, Testing, and Future Changes

SharePause may offer beta, experimental, preview, mock, or test features. These features may be incomplete, inaccurate, unstable, unavailable, or changed without notice.

Beta features may include simulated flows, mock rewarded ads, test credits, experimental analysis modes, early Trust Card features, or other non-final functionality.

We may add, remove, suspend, limit, modify, rename, or discontinue any feature at any time.

13. Payments, Subscriptions, Credits, and Ads

SharePause may offer free checks, usage limits, paid subscriptions, premium features, credits, rewarded ads, or other monetization features now or in the future.

Any purchases made through an app store may be subject to that app store’s terms, payment rules, cancellation process, and refund policies.

Unless otherwise required by law or applicable app store rules, fees are non-refundable once paid.

14. Intellectual Property

The Services, including the SharePause name, logo, branding, design, software, analysis methods, scoring systems, Trust Card formats, user interface, text, graphics, and other materials, are owned by Willnata LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of any SharePause intellectual property.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Services except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

15. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, feature requests, comments, or other feedback, you grant SharePause and Willnata LLC the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

16. Third-Party Services

SharePause may rely on or link to third-party services, including app stores, AI providers, cloud infrastructure providers, authentication services, analytics tools, payment processors, websites, or other platforms.

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, security, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk, abused the Services, violated applicable law, or harmed other users, SharePause, Willnata LLC, or third parties.

You may stop using the Services at any time. You may request account or data deletion by contacting support@sharepause.com.

18. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that SharePause may collect, process, store, and share information as described in the Privacy Policy.

19. No Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHAREPAUSE AND WILLNATA LLC DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

20. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHAREPAUSE, WILLNATA LLC, AND THEIR OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, REPUTATIONAL HARM, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON SHAREPAUSE RESULTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SHAREPAUSE FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

21. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SharePause, Willnata LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to:

• Your use or misuse of the Services;
• Your User Content;
• Your Trust Cards, shared results, posts, or communications;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your violation of any law or third-party right;
• Your reliance on, interpretation of, or distribution of SharePause outputs.

22. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@sharepause.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will also attempt to resolve disputes informally where reasonable.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services will be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law, you agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes may be communicated through the app, website, email, or other reasonable methods where required by law.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.

24. App Store Terms

If you download SharePause through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or another app marketplace, your use may also be subject to that marketplace’s terms, conditions, and policies.

The app marketplace is not responsible for SharePause, our content, our services, our support, or any claims related to SharePause, except as required by applicable marketplace rules.

25. General Terms

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms that apply to specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and SharePause regarding the Services.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written permission. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, asset sale, or operation of law.
