3. AI-Assisted Analysis and Automated Processing
SharePause uses AI-assisted analysis to help identify potential trust signals, risk signals, missing context, manipulation indicators, AI-writing signals, visual concerns, unsupported claims, and other factors that may affect whether content should be trusted or shared.
SharePause may use third-party artificial intelligence providers, cloud infrastructure providers, database providers, authentication providers, analytics providers, monitoring tools, and other service providers to operate the Services. These providers may process user-submitted content, account data, technical data, and analysis-related information only as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by their terms and applicable law.
SharePause currently uses Supabase for authentication, backend infrastructure, data storage, and related app functionality. SharePause may also use a Supabase Edge Function or similar server-side process to send submitted content to AI providers for analysis.
AI-assisted outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, outdated, or misleading. SharePause does not guarantee that any analysis result, rating, explanation, Trust Card, or recommendation is correct.
4. Important Limitations of SharePause Results
SharePause provides informational guidance only. SharePause is not a truth engine, fact-checking authority, censorship platform, professional advisor, legal advisor, medical advisor, financial advisor, emergency service, or final decision-maker.
SharePause results should be treated as a second opinion, not proof. Ratings and explanations may help users think more carefully before sharing content, but users remain solely responsible for their own decisions, posts, shares, reliance, conclusions, and actions.
You should not rely on SharePause as your only source of information for legal, medical, financial, safety, emergency, political, reputational, employment, academic, or other high-stakes decisions. When appropriate, consult qualified professionals, official sources, or authoritative references.
5. User Content License and Permissions
By submitting content to SharePause, you represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit that content for analysis.
You grant SharePause and Willnata LLC a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, reproduce, transmit, process, analyze, display, transform, summarize, and otherwise use submitted content solely for purposes related to operating, providing, securing, supporting, improving, and developing the Services, including generating analysis results, saved history, and Trust Cards.
This license does not give SharePause ownership of your submitted content. You retain whatever ownership rights you may have in content you submit.
6. Images, Screenshots, Faces, and Sensitive Content
Images and screenshots submitted to SharePause may contain personal information, faces, names, usernames, locations, messages, health information, financial information, political content, or other sensitive information. Please review content carefully before uploading it.
SharePause is not designed to identify individuals, verify identities, create biometric profiles, or authenticate a person’s identity. We do not intentionally collect biometric identifiers or biometric information for the purpose of identifying a specific person.
Do not submit highly sensitive, confidential, private, unlawful, or restricted information unless you are authorized to do so and understand the risks of submitting that information for analysis.
7. Trust Cards and Shared Results
SharePause may allow users to create, save, export, or share Trust Cards or summaries of analysis results. Trust Cards are intended to provide context and should not be treated as proof, certification, endorsement, verification, or a guarantee of truth or safety.
If you choose to share a Trust Card or analysis result outside SharePause, you are responsible for that sharing activity and for ensuring that you do not misrepresent the result, remove important context, harass others, defame others, or use SharePause outputs in a misleading way.
8. Advertising, Analytics, and Future Monetization
SharePause does not currently use third-party advertising SDKs in its active beta build. Certain beta features may simulate rewarded-ad behavior for testing purposes without showing real third-party ads.
In the future, SharePause may introduce rewarded ads, subscriptions, premium features, analytics tools, attribution tools, or advertising-related technologies. If we introduce third-party advertising or materially change how we use advertising data, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide additional notices or choices.
We may use analytics and diagnostic tools to understand app performance, feature usage, errors, crashes, and aggregate trends. These tools help us improve reliability, usability, security, and product quality.
9. Cookies and Website Technologies
Our website may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, embedded content, or similar technologies to operate the website, understand usage, improve performance, prevent abuse, and support future marketing or analytics features.
Browser settings may allow you to block or delete certain cookies. Some website features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.
However, no method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of any information submitted to or processed by SharePause.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for using caution when submitting sensitive information.

If you are a California resident, California law may provide additional rights regarding personal information. Subject to applicable limitations, these may include rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain sharing or sales of personal information.
SharePause does not sell personal information for monetary compensation. If future advertising or analytics activities are considered “sharing” or “selling” under applicable California privacy laws, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide required choices.
California residents may submit privacy requests by contacting support@sharepause.com.

17. Prohibited or Restricted Submissions
You should not submit content that is illegal, harmful, malicious, exploitative, invasive of privacy, confidential without authorization, or otherwise prohibited by our Terms of Use.
We may remove, restrict, preserve, review, or disclose information if we believe it is necessary to enforce our policies, comply with law, prevent abuse, protect users, or protect the Services.
